A FAMOUS DATTA KSHETRA-NARSOBAWADI
UTSAVA MOORTHI OF SHREE GURU NRUSIMHA SARASWATHY SWAMY MAHARAJ
Shri Narasimha Saraswati Swami temple is situated at Narsimhawadi, in Kolhapur
district of Maharashtra. Here, we can have darshan of Shreeguru padukas on the bank of Pancha ganga sangam of Krishna river. The Pancha Ganga Sangam is the confluence of the five holy rivers, Shiva,
Bhadra, Kumbhi, Bhagwati and Saraswati, where they all meet and
merge in the Krishna river.
The desires of the
devotees who worship Swami with full faith will be fulfilled. This kshetra context is in Shree Gurucharitra
of chapter numbers 20 and 21.

From Hyderabad: Kolhapur express
train is available from Hyderabad. One can have bus connection from Kolhapur
to Narsobawadi. It is around 1.5 hrs journey from Kolhapur to Narsobawadi.
From other places, one can reach SANGLI and
from there one can reach Narsobawadi within one hour.
FROM BANGALORE, Newdelhi: Direct
train facility is there from Bangalore to Kolhapur.
From PUNE:Trains are available
from PUNE to Jaisingpur. It is only 14 kms to Narsobawadi.

It is advised to attend or perform
MAHAPUJAN to Shreeguru. The puja is performing everyday in the afternoon at 12
noon. Benches will be arranged
For the devotees in front of Swamy
padukas. Very few tickets will be sold at Devasthana counter in the morning
hours everyday. Rudrabhisheka
Will be performed to Padukas with
Panchaamritha and Alankar will be performed. It is a Visheshana puja in the
temple.
