SREE NARASIMHA JAYANTHI

SREE NARASIMHA JAYANTHI

WATCH THE VEDEO BELOW ....A VEDEO ON SREE NARASIMHA SWAMY

Narasiṁha is often visualised as half-man/half-lion, having a human-like torso and lower body, with a lion-like face and claws.[2] This image is widely worshipped in deity form by a significant number of Vaiṣṇava groups. He is known primarily as the 'Great Protector' who specifically defends and protects his devotees in times of need.[3] Vishnu is believed to have taken the avatar to destroy the demon king Hiranyakashipu.[4]
The following is an extract of Chapter 19 of Shree gurucharitra which describes the glory Of Audumbara. Greatness of Audumbar:
Shri Vishnu took Narasimhawatar to kill the demon Hiranyakashyapu. He tore the belly of the demon by his nails. And took out the interstines and put them around his neck as a wreath. Narasimha’s nails were filled with strong poison and so caused great heat in his body. Shri Laxmi took Audumbar fruits and thrust Narasimha’s nails in them. The poison and the heat of the body subsided and Laxmi devi and Narasimha swamy were pleased. So they blessed the Audumbar tree “You shall always bear fruits and people will worship you as the Kalpataru . Strong poisons will be subsided even by your sight and sterile women will get issued if they worship you with devotion.
Audumbar is a kalpa-taru in kaliyuga, hence Shri guru Narasimha Saraswathy Swamy who is the second incarnation of Lord Dattatreya lived under it. Pray Dattaguru and have blessings of Lord Dattatreya & Narasimha.

          नमामि भगवद्पादं शंकरं लोकशंकरम् ||
 Shruti smruti purANAnAM AlayaM karuNAlayaM |

I prostrate to Adi Shankaracharya, An Incarnation Of Lord Shiva,
Who causes welfare to the universe, Who is the Repository of
The Divine Knowledge Of Vedas, Upanishads and Texts Of Mythology
And Who is the embodiment of mercy.
Bhagavan Sri Shankaracharya has been universally recognised as the great reviver of Sanatana Dharma and as the first Jnana Guru of the Kali Yuga; in the light of the vast mass of the historical descriptions and references thus available to us on the subject from all directions. Adi Shankar established four spiritual centres of hindu spiritual thoughts-Jothimutt (Uttarakhand-north),Dwarka( Gujarat-west),Puri(Odisha-east), and Shringeri (Karnataka-south). His teachings can be summed up in the following words:
Brahma Satyam Jagat Mithya||
Jeevo Brahmaiva Na Aparah!!
Brahman alone is real, this world is unreal; the Jiva is identical with Brahman.
Just as Lord Dattatreya, Sripaada Srivallabha and Sri Narasimha Saraswati are revered in the Datta Sampradaya, so too is Sri Adi Shankaracharya revered. As Sri Narasimha Saraswati himself revered Sri Adi Shankaracharya, And hence all followers in the Datta Sampradaya have adored Sri Adi Shankaracharya. Let us offer our heart-felt and fervent prayers to Him, the Adi Jagad Guru of Kali Yuga and consequently the great Master of us all.
Sri Jagadguru Paramatmane Namaha ||
